JAMES REED, THE HERON OF BUNKER HILL - MAKING AND RE-MAKING THE AMERICAN DREAM
Thursday, June 12 5:30pm

Join the Fitchburg Historical Society and the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance for a discussion about Fitchburg's Revolutionary War veteran, General James Reed, a hero from the Battle of Bunker Hill.  We invite you to join to not only reflect on the 250th anniversary and legacy of this important battle, but also to share OUR stories of how we continue to create today's America, one person at a time. There will also be an opportunity to view a Pop-Up exhibition about James Reed and more recent immigration into Fitchburg.

This program is supported in part by the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts and the Fitchburg Cultural Council, a local organization funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
